I did alot of it over the weekend. Reconnected with my nephews and my sister and her husband. I think we have both mellowed over the years and it feels like we have come full circle. The stuff that we have been going through is over and it seems like we are on the same page.

It was my nephew Cody’s 21st Birthday Party. I can’t believe he’s 21 already. I was 11 when he was born, just a kid myself really, but we have always had a very strong bond.

My sister had a beautiful cake made for him, a rugby ball and 50 cupcakes. They were soooo delicious.



Don’t they look divine? It was a chocolate mud cake with the creamiest cream icing on top and edible glitter. There was also a mini rugby ball on the top. The rugby ball cake was made out of the same chocolate mudcake, topped in yummy chocolate cream icing.

Why the rugby obsession? Both my nephews play rugby and both play in the state team.

Anyway…it was a really good party!! I had heaps of fun, lots of laughs. I stayed over in the spare bedroom because Yasu didn’t go with me. He had baseball early in the morning and he likes to go to bed at 9pm in baseball season so he doesn’t feel tired in the morning. It was ok, I still had a great time and he actually came and picked me up today and we all had lunch together. Everyone was really happy to see Yasu again because they hadn’t seen him for ages.

We actually didn’t get to bed til 4am this morning…just family and the next door neighbours were left then. I crawled into bed at 4 and crawled out at 9. We were all abit worse for wear… especially my nephew and his dad who managed to drink a carton of jack and coke EACH. In fact they were drinking it down through a funnel for a competition. Stupidity at it’s best but quite funny to watch.

After lunch today my sister wanted a reading so I sat down with her and my nephew’s girlfriend and gave them readings, then my nephew wanted one. But it was all good, and they got lots of confirmation. I enjoyed myself :)

So yeah… good weekend. I also feel like I said before in that my sister and I have come full circle to where we used to be. I really did alot of bonding over the weekend with my nephews and sister…I just feel so much better like our relationship is mended. I feel positive about the future, it feels good to have that support back. :)
