Wintry Blast

This last week has been a total washout – literally. It’s been raining night and day with nary a break in between, thunderstorms, 100km/hr winds and hail, and the temperatures have been minus, at least two days were minus 6 degrees. Totally unheard of here!! The lowest is usually around 2 degrees or something.

We sat around at home all weekend because it was too cold to even venture out the front door. I watched a lot of old movies on TV and Yasu played samurai games on the pc. In between I made us wraps, baked a chocolate mud cake and served us steaming hot mugs of cocoa with marshmallows.

I’m still not over my indigestion…but I think I may be on the road to recovery. I met a lady on Facebook who is a Louise Hay practitioner and she told me what she thinks is my problem, so I looked in You Can Heal Your Life and found the affirmations for the complaint.

I started saying the affirmations this morning and it was funny that a lot of gas suddenly had to be expelled. I decided to try some bush flower essences, and found the right type for fear, so I braved the weather to go buy it this afternoon and have taken it, and it’s actually starting to work.

As I am writing this the lump in my throat is gone and I actually feel somewhat better than I have in the last few weeks. :) So maybe I am on the road to getting over this thing.

Apart from that, nothing much is happening. I am on week 3 of my Tarot course but Yasu is really busy at work now and he might not be able to get home in time to take me to my class. As it’s thunderstorms outside the possibility of me walking or catching a bus is next to nil as I would get soaked the minute I step out the door. I really do hope he makes it home in time tonight… I really don’t want to miss the most crucial part of the course!

Good Gabble – My Debut

On Monday, the May issue of Good Gabble was launched and with it a lot of positive energy into the world.

I am pleased to be a part of that positive energy and I am featured in an article in the newzine where I was interviewed about Reiki.

Good Gabble - A celebration of all things positive

Here I am on page 12 - a small excerpt of the one and a half page article

You can get a physical or online subscription of Good Gabble by visiting their blog. They also have a page on Facebook.

Good Gabble is filled with great journalism about inspiring people making positive changes in the world. I want to congratulate Good Gabble on spreading the good news and for inspiring me. I really wish there were more people like you in the world.

It’s an honour to be in your newzine and I look forward to working with you again. :)

**I will also be in the June issue and am giving away readings for 2 lucky subscribers of the newzine. (details within the newzine)

Great Day

Today was another really good day. My mum came over and we caught up. She brought with her all the documents of the family tree she had got from the guy who had contacted her through the paper about her uncle that died in France. It was really interesting. I put in my details and added Yasu to our family tree, it has more of an international flavour now. Read more

Friday Summary

The BAD:

  • I didn’t realise that Debito.org was another one of those sites that doesn’t publish your comments if you don’t agree with them. How wrong was I! “Oh, you were in the 1% that actually liked the article? Batsu batsu batsu, no way am I publishing your comment…we only like people who blindly agree with us on this website, you know the kind of person who thinks it’s “us” against “them” mentality…”
