Attack of the Magpies

Yasu went back to work today after I spent the weekend healing his leg. I had a really powerful healing for him last night, and was taken into the universal flow, it was so powerful my body was doing figure-8’s from the energy while I was holding his leg. He didn’t know what was happening but he figured it was all good and then this morning he got up and could walk like normal with no pain.

We did have a good weekend together though. We sat around and watched some tv, goofed around, laughed and joked and it was fun. I also went walking which is kind of turning into my love now. I just have this urge to go walking every day, it’s great!

So anyway, today was the day for enrolling in classes down at the community centre, so I walked up there and enrolled in Yoga, Drawing, and Cooking. On the way there I was walking along minding my own business when something hit my head (I was walking across a park), I looked up to see a massive Magpie flying over me and swooping down again. The bloody thing had pecked the back of my head!! God it hurt too!! It tried to swoop on me again and I threw my bag up in the air to try and shoo it off. I was terrified because I’ve heard of those crows attacking and pecking your eyes, but never a magpie. So after I shoo’d it with my bag a couple of times, it stayed away but boy did I hotfoot it across that oval!! haha. It must have looked funny but my head is still really sore and I’m so lucky it didn’t break the skin!

So anyway the courses all start next week. Drawing is on Monday at noon, Yoga is wednesday night, and Cooking is Thursday morning. In between that I have a pretty busy schedule with my weekend Psychic Development courses and I have made a few new friends in the area so I’m going to be doing some meet-ups this week and next week. My life has somehow just taken off!

Tomorrow I’m going to visit my mum, so I’m looking forward to catching up. The best thing I’ve learnt from Abraham in regards to my relationship with my family is that I can still have involvement with them without getting involved in their problems. I can see what they do, but It doesn’t have to affect me, and it’s true. It’s really working for me in that I no longer have any feelings about what they do, because they are doing it to each other, not to me.

So when I catch up with my mum, we have a good day, go out for coffee, walk her dog etc, and I don’t deal with any of the shit that usually happens in their lives because it doesn’t concern me. I’m so much happier for that now. It means I can have a relationship with my mum without any negative feelings.

I found out today that my cousin is 4 months pregnant today. My mum didn’t want to tell me because she thought I would freak out, because her and I started trying at the same time, but actually, I’m happy for her and I don’t feel any hard feelings because I’m really happy in my life and where I’m going. I’m so fulfilled right now. :)

Life is great!!

On my walk today I took a photo of these pink and grey cockies on the grass near me, they were so tame, and didn’t move away when I came near.

A Mixed Bag

Today I woke up feeling a little bit better than I have been, still experiencing stomach cramps though, with no idea what is causing it, and no inclination to visit the doctor either.

A couple of weeks ago I was given some credit to an online store as a reward from an online survey, so I went and spent my $20 on an Australian Women’s Weekly Recipe Journal. I’m always printing out recipes from the net and losing them, or having to keep them on bookmark which is a pain, so this is something I can really make use of.

I’m pretty impressed with the layout of the journal and the extra recipes. And in the back there is a page of conversions which I know will be handy too.

I managed to get a load of washing done today, but just after I put the water in it bucketed down with rain, so I ended up hanging it all out on the clothes horse on the patio, hopefully the little bit of wind that is out there now will get it dry overnight.

Today is the first day of this week that Yasu has gone to work. There is currently no orders for luxury boats so he has been kicking around at home all week with me. I don’t mind, as I love having him home, and all 3 days he has cooked dinner with some pork belly he bought (1kg) from a Korean butcher. I’ve enjoyed all the looking after, but today it was time to get back to the real world.

It was nice to spend a day by myself though. I tend to get really uptight if I have to spend alot of time with other people. I’m not sure if it’s because of my depression or just that I grew up as an only child in a second marriage and always played by myself. I grew to enjoy my own company more than others. Of course, Yasu respects that and at times he goes one end of the house and I go the other.

Hmm tonight I’m thinking of making Tuscan Meatballs and a Potato Bake for dinner. Something a little bit different than ordinary, I suppose. Well, Yasu has cooked Japanese all week, something I could eat forever, but I do like a change every now and then.

Oh, I did my Angel Cards today. I try to do them every day but sometimes I forget. I got the most obscure ones today:

Chantall“New romance is imminent- either with a newcomer, or through reignited passion in your existing relationship. Be open to giving and receiving love” (purrrrrrr)

Rosetta“You have a gift for working with young people, and your Divine purpose involves helping, teaching, or parenting children” (parenting!! hope hope hope)

Mystique“Keep charging ahead, and don’t take no for an answer. Expect miraculous solutions to appear” (hmmm…wonder what!!)

I have never ever pulled these three cards before, So I am somewhat amazed to get all 3 new ones. Basically this is a 3 card layout, “what the Angels want you to know”. I usually stick to this layout, but there are other more complicated ones you can do. Some of my friends though just pick one card they feel drawn to, and usually it sums up exactly what is going on in their lives.

Oh and in case you’re wondering these are the “Messages from your Angels” Cards by Doreen Virtue. It has a companion book too, which I haven’t read. Though I do have alot of her other books and cd’s.

And finally, if any of my readers would like an Angel card reading of their own, feel free to email me for an in-depth card reading for free :) I enjoy doing it for others.

日曜日が良かった

This morning I woke up rather late, about 11:30 am. When I got up the house was really quiet and I wondered where Yasu was. I walked around the house and finally found him fast asleep in the guest room. It turns out he was sleepy but didn’t want to wake me up by getting back into bed, because he knows when I get woken up I find it hard to get back to sleep. Such a sweetie.

I woke him up by giving him butterfly kisses on his cheek. haha :)

He then suggested we have fish n’ chips for lunch, which I thought was a good idea. I also wanted to go to Bunnings (a large hardware store) to look for some hedging plants for our front garden.

I got dressed and off we tootled. Had a look around the hardware store but they didn’t have the particular hedge I wanted. Still I got some soil vitamins for my Japanese maple tree at home that isn’t doing so well, and a watering can, and Yasu got some buckets and a tape measure.

After that we picked up some fish n’ chips and took it home to eat. Luckily the Sumo tournament had just started so we watched that and ate. Afterwards it was getting a bit cold so I got my blanket and pillows from my healing room and put it over us on the leather lazyboys and we snuggled up watching the Sumo. We had a surprise at the end when 日馬富士 won the tournament instead of 白鵬! Everyone threw their red zabuton in surprise.

After that I gave Yasu a massage on his neck, the second in two days. It’s been troubling him all week. I did a little bit of shiatsu as well as some neck stretches and he said it feels better now.

Then Yasu said he would be cooking tonight’s dinner with a recipe he got from MSN Japan. He made something called “Chinese Chicken” and a side dish of sweetened potatoes. It wasn’t sweet potato, but rather jagaimo with some kind of sweetened saute. It was really nice and so was the chicken, really delicious. He even surprised me by washing up all the dishes as well.

So I’m pretty happy tonight, as we’ve had a great day together and I got a night off from cooking and dishes, so I’m feeling pretty good.

I got a part-time job offer over the weekend, right out of the blue, I wasn’t even looking. I’m considering taking it because I want to go back to Japan and the airfares are quite low now so If I can save my pay from that part-time job we might be able to go.

I’ve also got a couple of meet-ups with friends this week so I’m looking forward to those.

The weather is going to be fine this week too after last weeks thunderstorms and heavy rain and hail, so it will be a good week to get out and about. 良かったね!
