Yesterday was one of those days where I sat around doing not much. No clients (thankfully) as it was 40.4 degrees outside and very humid. I felt quite lethargic for most of the day…and only really rallied around 4pm. Read more
True Friends – People who I love so much, who I love to see succeed. People who love to see me succeed and don’t feel the need to compete. Because, when it comes down to it, there is enough for everyone. I love seeing my friends do well, and their success is my success. When they are happy, so am I. I love all my dear friends who always manage to brighten my day when I hear from them. A simple email or text from a friend is enough to put a smile on my dial.
The Domino Effect – I have had this situation arise for me with the work that I do. Since I have been so busy with my healing and readings, I’ve been able to earn a bit of money, so that I was able to donate 10% from last month’s earnings to the Australian Red Cross for the Haiti Earthquake Appeal. I’m really happy that my work has enabled me to keep giving to the wider community of Earth.
Work Evolving – I started off with Reiki healing and readings online, but I am entering a new phase where I feel my work is evolving, and I have started giving face-to-face readings this week due to popular demand. It was scary at first, but once I got the first one over with I realised there was really nothing to worry about and it was all about trusting myself and spirit.
Yasu – He has been such a big help this week, and he’s been so sweet. We’ve had a great time together this week, and he even remembered V-day and said he planned to take me out for dinner on Sunday night, so I should have trusted him to remember.
Chocolate – So grateful that chocolate exists. Chocolate. Mmm. I must have chocolate at least once per day. That is my modus operandi.
GO! channel - Watching all the greats like The Partridge Family, Green Acres, Mother and Son, Full House, I dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, The Flintstones, The Jetsons… really love revisiting these old shows with Yasu. It’s funny you know, he really gets the humour of those shows, but not alot of the humour of current shows…so it made me think those shows are really timeless and they definitely have more of a story than today’s series. Last night we caught The Benny Hill show on there and I realised just how sexual that show really was. When I was a kid and watched it I never realised…just thought he was a funny old guy. Anyway, enjoying HD TV, the new flat screen and actually feel motivated to watch tv for the first time in a long time.
Fresh Fruit - I have had a craving for fresh fruit all week and I’ve been eating pears, apples, oranges, banana’s, watermelon and pineapple and it’s been soooo delicious!!
It’s funny how things work, but it seems that with my ever expanding list of friends through my spiritual work comes ever expanding job opportunities. Read more
Yesterday we went to visit a Japanese friend we know and her Aussie partner. We stopped in at Utopia and bought a matcha-azuki roll cake for afternoon tea. It was the first time we had been to their house. It was a nice place, right across from a park and 5 minutes from the beach.

Ok, so I’m back but in my happier self. Read more
Today Yasu woke me up about 9am (first sleepin-in I’ve had in ages!), and we went shopping for groceries. I also bought a new frypan and some christmas cookie cutters as I’m going to make some traditional shortbreads tomorrow.
We came home, had showers and then went to Fremantle to meet my Japanese friend S, her NZ husband S, and their baby R-chan. R-chan had just had a nap but was still sleepy but he woke up abit when he saw our fish n’ chips arrive. He immediately climbed over onto my lap and sat with me. For some reason he loves me! He proceeded to look down my top and grope my boobs like he did last time and everyone was laughing. He had his eyes on my boobs and wouldn’t look away…it was so funny but also a bit embarrassing. Everyone kept saying “typical guy”…
Yasu was itching for a hold so I gave him to Yasu, but he was still trying to get over to me to get my chips, so I gave him one, and it was gone in 5 seconds, I kid you not. And he’s only 10 months old!! He proceeded to eat 3 more until dad told him no more.
After we had finished we went up to the Fremantle markets because S was looking for a pendulum but with a Lapis Lazuli as the crystal. Both crystal shops had everything but Lapis unfortunately.
We left them in the carpark as we were both tired and they were going to go on to the next markets. On the way home we stopped into the new J-supa to find them selling 200g bottles of Shiseido Tsubaki shampoo for $37.50, packets of 5 sachet bath salts for $27.50, and House Vermont curry for $7.90. I was pretty disgusted at the pricing and Yasu thought it was ridiculous. The only thing I bought was a joy pack of Wasabi kaki no tane for Yasu, and two monaka’s for us to nibble on, one waguri and the other azuki. I spent a total of $5.10. I really wanted to get some senbei but they only had shoyu or salt flavour, no ebi or kotsubukko
Anyways we came home and Yasu worked in the garden for an hour and I made chahan for dinner. I’m feeling really tired because I got lots of sun and wind today. I didn’t get sunburnt today though which is good, as I’ve been using a suncream I bought in Japan, Kose suncut, which is 50+SPF, higher than anything you can get here (they only go up to 30+SPF).
Below is a photo for Desley who asked me about the leaf thing on our wall. It’s a tealight holder. (We don’t have any tealights at the moment so that’s why there is only one in it)
I met up with a lady today who I done a reading for a couple of weeks back. She is Japanese and just moved here with her NZ husband and her 10 month old baby boy R-chan. He is sooo cute, and he has such character. Anyway, S is very interested in psychic ability, spirits, angels and all that stuff, so we got talking by email after I gave her a reading, and one thing led to another and I ended up going over her house today.
It was so much fun and R-chan and I got on really well. He has these beautiful big brown eyes and two little teeth on the bottom, so when he smiles he lights up the room. I took my cards and pendulum over and a couple of books for S, and R-chan was really interested in both the pendulum and cards and kept trying to sneak a card when we weren’t watching!
He loves his chippies though and he was eating those French Fries snacks for the whole time I was there, about two and a half hours. I bought some matcha cake and some other sweets over for afternoon tea and I shared my matcha cake with R-chan who proceeded to suck on it, drop it on the floor, smash it on my foot and pick it up and eat it again, then rub the cream all over his nose! He seemed to enjoy the flavour though
I was so happy to get an email from S when I got back home tonight to say how nice it was to meet me and she asked if we would like to have lunch all-together so she could meet Yasu and Yasu could meet her and her husband and R-chan, so we are currently planning to do that this weekend.I can’t wait to see R-chan again too!
Yep, so that was my day, a really good one! Tomorrow I have a rather busy day planned, craft class in the morning, yoga at night and after that the committee meeting until 9:30pm. I’m really looking forward to the craft class tomorrow as we’re doing something with silk…can’t wait to see what it is!
